What:

To support the further growth of the Internet of Things (IoT), the mobile industry has developed new radio access technologies, often referred as low power wide area (LPWA). These technologies can better cope with the characteristics and requirements of IoT devices and their applications. Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) is a strong candidate among the different LPWA options for new services being deployed for the Internet of Things.

"Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT): Cellular Technology for the Hyperconnected IoT" is an application note that discusses the fundamental drivers of NB-IoT and explores the challenges in adopting this new application quickly and securely.

"Critical Test Parameters of NB-IoT Devices, Test Challenges and Keysight Solutions" is an application note that describes the most relevant features of NB-IoT, including test methodologies coverage and battery power consumption.
