The event, which took place in San Francisco in December, brought together technical thought leaders from academia and commercial organizations. The goal of the event goal was to help companies accelerate 5G technology and innovation. At the event, the attendees were able to exchange insights regarding the challenges related to accelerating the delivery of 5G NR (New Radio), phased array antennas and Over-the-Air (OTA) technologies.

The event coincided with the publication of the first 3GPP 5G NR specifications. Kailash Narayanan, vice president of Keysight's Wireless Devices and Operators organization, announced that Keysight's 5G network emulation solutions now support the new Release 15 3GPP 5G NR standards and publicly demonstrated the industry's first 5G NR ready device workflow solutions.
