Telefónica Selects Ixia, a Keysight Business, to Deliver Global Network Visibility Architecture

  
  

Ixia's visibility solutions monitor Telefónica's physical and virtual networks

SANTA ROSA, Calif., February 13, 2019

Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS), a leading technology company that helps enterprises, service providers and governments accelerate innovation to connect and secure the world, announced that Telefónica has selected visibility solutions from Ixia, a Keysight Business, to provide a cost-effective, scalable, homogeneous visibility architecture for monitoring their physical and virtual networks worldwide.

Mobile operators and enterprises use Ixia's visibility solutions to increase quality of experience (QOE), enhance network performance, detect network anomalies, and improve business intelligence. Ixia's solutions provide the real-time, end-to-end visibility and insight organizations need to protect and improve performance of their critical networking, data center and cloud business assets.

Ixia's visibility solutions deployed by Telefónica include:

  • Ixia's Network Packet Brokers (NPBs), which deliver intelligent, sophisticated and programmable network flow optimization and provide visibility and security of business assets enabling monitoring teams to quickly resolve application performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot problems, improving network monitoring and security tools
  • Ixia's network tap products, including optical fiber taps, copper taps and tap aggregators, for visibility into network traffic to help maintain optimal performance and security
  • Ixia Fabric Controller (IFC) for centralized management of NPBs to create a security and monitoring fabric that operates as a single, cohesive layer
